Give Us Picture Identification
We, the undersigned, call on the CNO/Cherokee Nation Registration Department, the Legislative and Administration branches of the Government, responsible for change and enforcement, to agree to develop a National Picture Identification Card for Member/Citizens of the Nation similar to the Oklahoma State Drivers license, and the card the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma (UKB) members have. With an Agreement on Concessions for members and with special consideration for the disabled, and Elder Cherokee beginning at 62 Years of age.
Such a card card would offer member/citizens a 2nd form of identity as many entities require. This is most important as the cards we now have is very basic, and is not recognized as formal identification. Some advantages the new ID card could be for, Health care ID, voters ID, Automatic enrollment for newborns, citizenship for new members through the Dawes Rolls.
