8 courts means 32 people can play at the same time. Better use of space then no one using the courts.

Repurposing two "rarely used" tennis courts into 8 pickleball courts is a fantastic idea. The facilities are already in place. The location is ideal for people coming from all directions. Pickleball is a fast-growing, thriving sport, and it would be wise for Visalia to ride the wave, rather than miss the opportunity and have to play catch-up later. The re-purposing of the courts will reach hundreds, if not thousands of more local people, than what is happening with those courts now. People of all ages, sizes and abilities have discovered fun exercise through pickleball. Let's Embrace the opportunity we have here to make Visalia an even better place to live, work and retire!

Pickleball players shouldn't have to be second-class citizens. We deserve to have enough permanent courts.....just like tennis.

Pickling is one one the greater joys in life and should get the same attention in communities as tennis, basketball, baseball, football, and soccer. If you really think about it, tennis courts are already there.. why not, in the lwast, add a few more paint lines if not actual pickle ball courts?! Visalia can definitely use more positive community interaction, just the same as other communities with valued sports circles and a place to play these sports!!

I love pickleball and would appreciate having permanent pickleball courts so I don't have to depend on other players that have keys to the box to be able to play.

I agree that the City of Visalia needs to repurpose Plaza Park tennis courts 7&8 for 8 dedicated and permanent pickleball courts.

Pickle Ball might be unheard of to some but this sport is getting so popular that there's not enough courts for players at the Plaza Park! There are more Pickle Ball players than Tennis players on any given day

We definitely need more pickleball courts. Those at plaza are not safe due to close proximity to tennis nets.
