I’m a current pickleball player with a competitive tennis background. Tennis players can still play tennis with pickleball lines. Let’s share! Both sports can coexist!

In the Truckee Recreation Center Pickleball players share courts with basketball players. The sharing is done by scheduling time for Pickleball vs. time for basketball. The same could be done here with time(s) for PB vs. time(s) for tennis. Alternatively, time limits for play could allow for both sports to play anytime that courts are open. At Forest Hill Park in Carmel singles play is limited to 1/2 hour and doubles play is limited to 1 hour, then active players must yield the court to waiting players.

I fully support the lines being made for Pickleball. It is one of the fastest growing sports for seniors.

These are public courts and should be enjoyed by all, whether it be tennis or pickleball. There should ample time for both.

Pickleball is a growing sport for young & old. Please allow us courts to play. Shouldn't we be allowed to share courts. Tennis players can love & enjoy pickleball also.

We have been playing pickleball for several years and on lots of repainted tennis courts. We have heard these complaints but after a short time it becomes a non-issue as we all learn to adjust. It is wonderful to see so many people active and courts being used.

Santa Cruz has successful shared tennis courts pickleball can accomodate more players per court than tennis. Pickleball needs a permant home here in Monterey. Give us a court at the tennis center in town. Then. Would love to have lighted courts. We could put 4 pickleball courts on one tennis court allowing 16 people to play instead of 2-4 with Tennis. There are pleanty of places to play tennis. We pickleballer are just looking to share what courts we have now.
