We all understand the need for tradesmen on the island right now to help us rebuild our community. I'm sure I am not alone in my gratitude for all their hard work. Unfortunately, with the current traffic situation it is taking an hour or longer to run from Bokeelia to Winn Dixie. Combined with the 9pm curfew, this means it is extremely hard for local traffic to get around and get what we need to get done accomplished on a daily basis. This petition is to ask the Lee County officials to provide a better solution. Be it a thru traffic only lane, lifting the curfew, or at a minimum- extending the curfew to 11pm.
