Dear professor struck

The purpose of this email is to address some issues that we as students of your physics class faced during the semester as well as during the exam and we hope you take our concerns into consideration.

As you have mentioned multiple times, if a student wants to get a good score for physics he or she should practice in the lectures and the exercises and practice the provided exercises to prepare for the exam.

However we as students ~do not~ feel that the material we were ~thought~ taught during exercises and classes was not adequate to do well in the exam.

  • The first issue was the structure of the exercises. As you know we did the exercises based on some assumptions that we made and the questions were not a clear representation of what we should be expecting on the exam.

  • Although our exercise tutor Elad did an excellent job of teaching us what he knew, he was another student who didn’t know anything about the structure of the exam.

  • Although we had an experiment about oscillation, during the exercises we barely practiced any questions regarding oscillation.

  • We think the question about orbitals was not well suited in the exam since we had no experience in dealing with such questions.

  • Ultimately we think the materials provided for us during the exercises and lectures was not adequate enough to do well in the exam.

we respectfully request you to consider the problems we were facing during this past semester and take actions to make those of us who were prepared get better grades by lowering the passing grade.
