100% this should be allowed. These business rely on not only revenue from food sales but also sales of alcohol. We as a community can do what we can to help them survive this crisis by purchasing takeout orders of food, but will that be enough? Allowing takeout of beverages as well would help even more to keep them afloat.

This makes sense. You can order food for delivery and alcohol delivery if it’s one of the five alcohol license types. This petition would expand that and keep up with the current environment. Plus it makes sense from a safety point, to prevent driving under altered conditions. And of course it’s good for local business !!!! Times are changing and we need to evolve to survive!!

I have so many friends who work in the food and beverage industry. It breaks my heart seeing how much this crisis is impacting them. Especially if anybody them do get sick during this time. If something can be done that allows them to generate revenue without a bailout, I think it should be done.
