Some of the photo radar is put on bridges and that is in a dangerous spot for those driving on the bridge.

Even though I only had one ticket since moving here in 02. I drive very safely as I am a professional driver, anxiety of a ticket in the mail can be overwhelming. 180 buck fine because you were unintentionally speeding. It was a 9 kms over the limit mistake you didnt even realize.

Photo radar does not stop people from speeding it is just a way to raise money because people do not learn from a ticket in the mail

If someone is driving at an unsafe speed then they should've pulled over to curb the dangerous driver not photographed and then potentially cause an accident. But you don't care you have your money. I have never received a photo ticket so I sign this petition for what's right. Safety over money

Sick of them thinking they can take us for all our money when I pay my taxes this is ridiculous ! Use it in places needed not on the highways .

You can not argue that photo radar has become a money grab. Initially, probably an idea to better the traffic, with the money being just a silver lining.
But even with the increase in ticket cost, it shows that this does not work and that it is a money grab.
Time to admit that this program is a failure.

Let the law enforcement sevices do the job the public pay them to do - preventing and fighting real crimes. not diverting valuable resources to make money for the city.

I have never seen a city with this many photo radars, or seen this many wasted police time just for a speeding ticket, tint ticket, or have cops hide in places that looked like they were hunting animals. I've been to many big cities, I have never seen this before, no real police department spend this much money and man power to do this, its a bit over the line here

Not only is radar a cash cow so is the motorcycle noise bylaw. If your going to go after noise then go after all vehicles.
