The constant speeding in our neighbor hood is a tremendous danger to all who live in this once quiet community. The cut through traffic is evident and a great danger to all, something terrible will eventually happen if something isn't done.

I hope this works!!! Been dealing with the same issues off of Riverwood Ave (south of Proctor)...people use it as a through street and drive at ridiculous speed!!! County will not give us speed bumps even though they are on the north end of Riverwood!??:(

The problem could easily be amerliorated with speed bumps or additional stop signs. The fact that there is a Pre-K on the Swift end of Constitution should make this issue all the more urgent for the county. Dropping off and picking up children there is an accident (and a lawsuit) waiting to happen. An ounce of prevention............

We desperately need traffic calming on Constitution blvd as well as Britannia Rd. People driving through at speeds of 50mph + all day everyday. Super dangerous!

I have lived on Constitution for 45 years. Sometimes I have trouble getting out of my driveway since the road has been repaved

Calming bumps would be a great safety step. Cars are going 40 to 45 miles an hour since the road was repaved. There are more children playing near the Road

One of our neighbors had begun the request time ago. I am reposting the response he received from the county:
"Good afternoon Mr. Smith,
If you have a request that would be heard by the Traffic Advisory Council, you may contact Melanie Marsh. If you are inquiring about the County’s Residential Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (RNTMP), applications are not being accepted at this time, as per the Board Of County Commissioners.
If you have questions regarding speeding concerns, I would be happy to assist you, and provide the Sheriff’s Traffic Unit direct number for increased enforcement. I have attached the response letter for reference for any traffic calming inquiries for reference.

As residents it a daily danger to get the mail , I personally have almost been hit several times . I will not let my family retrieve the mail only I due to the speeders on Constitution Blvd .

I live on America and the speeding is just as bad on our road to Constitution. We truly need to get a handle of this issue before someone dies. Which is the sad thing, only then will we be heard.

I might suggest a series of speed bumps placed to slow the speed of traffic down. Do you know how many signatures are required to make a change? Have you talked to the highway department or city on this? If so, what was their response. I know of realtors who refuse to sell to families for fear of a ball rolling into the streets and a child being hit. You might add after are putting us, especially our children at risk.
