Perpetuate means in perpetuity so why would we change the name?
He seems like an honorable man and we need to know more about him by keeping the name and restoring the plaque. Sounds like a very honorable family indeed!

The Pensacola Bay Bridge was a memorial bridge to Sen. Philip D. Beall, Sr. This honorarium must be transferred to the new bridge so Pensacola history won't be forgotten.

Let's stop tearing down our monuments to the past. Name another highway, bridge, ramp or tunnel after the more recently to be honored

We appreciate the work of Gaetz on the new bridge but memorial bridge name should be kept original like the legislature back then meant it to be.

I am shocked to learn the 3 mile bridge was a memorial bridge. I agree that the new bridge continue to be a memorial to Mr Bealle.
Let's keep it named for a real person whom did good

Owner of 3145 Fayal Dr, P'cola Fl. Retired Naval Officer. Strongly recommend honoring our founders like Philip D. Beall by KEEPING his name on our new bridge.
