Far to many of us know the woes of trying to find a place to park in Philadelphia with-out being ticketed towed and Booted. My name is Taleya I've live in Philadelphia my entire life last year alone I paid twelve hundred dollars in city taxes that I got no return on at all. I can't park in front of my house unless I purchase a parking permit annually and I can't park at work The Penn Museum in University City, why because all this city cares about is taking from its citizens, I work Morning shift, There's no option to commute via public transportation because I am a single parent and my child has to go to school camp or the sitter before I head to work. usually between 6-7am. I am completely disgusted that the parking authority has been given the right to rape its citizens hard working citizens. they ticket us then we're given fifth teen days to pay the ticket before receiving astronomical penalty increases how does a ticket jump from thirty-six dollars to 90 dollars then to over one-hundred dollars and god forbid if your unemployed and really struggling when they place your car on the boot and tow list your left out to hang and dry they could care less as long as their getting they're legally stolen funds. help me fight against the philadelphia parking system lets go all the way! if you're furstrated and insulted with the actions of this criminal institution sign my petition this is only the beginging also please research who your voting for its the politicians we put in place that allows these kinds of injustices to be done to its own upstanding tax paying citizens!!! its all about the money to them!
