There are so many of us as Pittsburgh locals that are interested in PGC. The primary focus of offering an afp is to ensure increased reliability and trip coverage by utilizing local flight attendants, rather than commuters. Paris has proven itself to be a valuable flight in the worldwide system. Rather than denying access to the base to many local flight attendants because they don't have the purser qualification, we request that you open the base and accept the locals that are ready, willing, and able to help the operation. In order to do so, we request that you offer purser training, even if temporary, to those flights attendants that have applied to create an acceptable staffing level and allow the base to operate as intended.
