The workload is seriously insane for a pass fail class. I barely have time for my actual major classes because pfuns taking all my time. This needs to change asap.

The labs are so confusing and totally disconnected from what we do in lecture. How are we supposed to pass when nothing matches up

The course is already a torturing experience for almot all of the children specially from sdp.
I personally feel programming is a whole new language and to be able to learn it the way we are expected to is close to impossible. It eigther ends up effecting other courses or damaging the mental health of the students
The lectures are equlent of teaching us the characters of new language while in the assignments we are expected to solve problems and be master of programming i personally find it ironically funny
I am afraid that habib might see some of the worst cases of depressed and stress filled students as already i can see all this in my peers
Saddest part is that no one is ever gonna do anything our comments have an equlent value of bristish indian times protests they will just get listened but nothing would change after hearing what the students.

The final exam needs to be a written theory based exam in order for us to pass.

Pfun has been forcing me to divert time away from the other SDP electives I have that are crucial for me to take in order to learn about the field and make progress in my own discipline. Pfun has been causing me unprecedented mental stress and emotional exhaustion and I find it ridiculous that this exhaustion is being caused by something I did not choose to take voluntarily. I am extremely worried about my performance this semester because my grades for other subjects are being affected by the time pfun requires me to dedicate to its practice.

Too much workload with lab class works and homeworks and extra practice questions. 2 and a half hour lab is too much. It's hard to concentrate this long on a subject that's already too hard and mentally drains you faster than any other subject. Extremely hard quizzes.
