I always thought they were not suitable for pets nd wild animals basically knocked together sheds messy and not very well fed some of them.

I visited here a few years ago and I have never returned as it is more like an animal dumping ground and the customer service was a disgrace

Such a shame, and definitely not a good role model to show kids how to "look after" pets.

i did work experience here and it was shocking how filthy and unprofessional this place was, animals being either not treated by a vet or treated by staff incorrectly, equipment such as wheelbarrows and broom were severely damaged if not unsuitable for use, basic knowledge on how to care for the animals wasn’t known due to no trained staff when i was there i choose to clean about 4 months worth of compacted pony urine and faeces from their “shelter” (which was a bit of tarp tied between the fence and an oak tree) as their 2 ponies where about knee deep in waste, i had been told that they had a full muck out weekly but this was a very apparent lie as it was about 1ft deep of rotting straw, hay, urine and faeces, this took about 5 hours to do as i had no proper equipment and what i did have was either broken or wasn’t suitable, the waste from the ponies wasn’t dumped into a suitable much heap but into the pigs enclosure another shocking place is bunny alley which is “hutches” stacked 3 high which are 1ft x 2ft (at most) which the public don’t see as its where they keep the breeding bunnies and the sick and injured, these hutches have barely any shelter from the weather and many were rotten or falling apart and had little to no substrate for the rabbits, however bunny alley is also where they keep any small furries which show signs of illness or injury, there was a guinea pig that had been attacked by a rabbit and it’s back had been torn open and it was left untreated in a small dirty hutch in bunny alley this guinea pig wasn’t seen by any form of vet and im pretty sure it died from its injuries within the 2 weeks i was there there was a reptile room onsite which was locked from the public and was always kept quiet as they were not technically licensed to have a reptile room, so pythons, corn snakes, bearded dragons and many other reptiles lived in the dark without proper handling, accommodation, cleaning or feeding but they could not get rid of the exotics due to n
