A quick look around will tell anyone WP eCommerce seems to have basically died.

How can we thank the pioneering devs and supporters while reviving WP eCommerce?

We convince them to become open source, but while retaining avenues of financial support for them, like contributions as well as royalty-like, voluntary (but ethically compelling) kickbacks from new projects it would allow, that's how!

Sign now and let's revive WP eCommerce like a glorious phoenix!

We want to show there is enough support for this idea to write up an official proposal (red tape included) that would include a succinct but clear and noticeable memo in the top of the code, not to be removed per the license, that influenced anyone benefitting from WP eCommerce to contribute to the original (now current) owners by one-time contributions (at least) for single websites using it and for %'s of profit to be transparently pledged to them in cases of white labeling it in any way.

This could both revive the pioneers' stream of income from WP eCommerce in lieu of it going to unbeneficial seed on the vine, as well as bring in a deluge of eager, new devs to ensure safe and effective updates continue.

Let's give the less preferable successor another run for its money!
