This is the first car I have owned in my 40+ years of driving that has manifested "rev hang." I didn't notice it during the test drive, but now it is quite bothersome and I am sure that the cutch will fail prematurely if it is not corrected. I currently cannot recommend this car the VW CC with a manual transmission until this matter is addressed.

Having the exact same rev issue. VW dealer claimed it's because of my aftermarket intake.

This is an issue that seems to get progressively worse as time goes on in my vehicle.

Have that problem too. The rpms hang and it's hard to disengage the gears

Please fix this issue. I love just about everything on my 2012 GLI except for the rev hang issue. :( If there is no resolution I'll be forced to sell my car.
