Hello Everyone!
I am humbled at the opportunity to serve the 2L Single JD Class on the Detroit Mercy Law Honor Council.
For those who don't know, the Honor Council is charged with enforcing the Honor Code at Detroit Mercy Law to maintain high standards of academic integrity. The council does so by overseeing Honor Code violation investigations, hearings, and ultimately voting on final disciplinary decisions.
As future JD's, integrity and ethical decision-making are imperative to our future success. I have a passion for seeing all of you succeed, and one way to ensure your success is by maintaining high standards of integrity at our school. I believe I would excel in this position because of my personal integrity and ethical decision-making skills. Additionally, given the opportunity, I possess the ability to judge Honor Code violations fairly and impartially.

been having some great conversations with folks around the law school lately about what they want to see from the council. it is really motivating to hear how much everyone cares about our standards here and i am excited to keep pushin for this spot.

im honestly blown away by the support so far. it means a lot to see so many classmates backing my run for the honor council.
