It just doesn’t make sense that we cannot use the facilities there.

Kids need to play football, does it really matter if it's a mile or so down the road? Let's look at the bigger picture here.

Your last sentence sums up the whole nonsense. Can play 32 miles away can't play 5.8 miles away. Just to be clear ,Is the problem with football authority? If so who are the individuals actually around the table making such a decision?

My son is in the same situation at Ynysygerwen. They should be doing more to help encourage children to play over the winter when there are good quality facilities at Bae Baglan school.

Ridiculous situation! Saturday football is a very very important part of these children's life and surely physical education and activities are to be highly encouraged. I really fail to see the logic or reasoning behind this ban. Sort yourselves out West Wales FA!!

The council should allow the children to play in a safe well maintained area

The facilities in the locality of Bryncoch are terrible for grass roots football. Bryncoch FC also have 2 senior sides who do not have a home pitch to play on in Bryncoch. Putting hurdles in the way of junior football teams accessing good facilities is absurd. Some common sense needs to prevail where local children are concerned. Preventing kids from playing on a Saturday = not acceptable.

We should be encouraging our youngsters to get off their mobile devices and out onto the sports field.

Ridiculous when so much pressure on parents and kids to participate in more sport that they are not allowing them to play. Why should it matter where they play? Update your rules FA to reflect the century we are living in.
