The Cente/Bathurst rapidway is very expensive project supported only by interested parties such as Viva Rapidway, unions and various construction companies and highrised building developers. Future development is also supported by Town of Vaughan Cancel where I am not exclude a vested interest of the cancelers themselves in a such project. For example, the approval of the Beverlay/Bathurst highrised project was already partially based on the approved Bathurst/Centre rapidway corridor. The preliminary estimates of the future passengers traffic are overextended and not based on referendum type( there are no any questioners or inquiry were presented to the residence of that area) I assume that next move will be the construction of a number of high raised buildings on the Walmart property ,which is already approved as a highrised zoning. Next the owners of the property were the NO FRILLS supermarket is located will be trying to rezone, based on the adjacent to the Walmart property. In the nearest future the Bathurst/Cente area will resemble the Bathurst/Steels area, and only very vigorous resistance of the residence can resist that future problems. Please do not involve the cancelers of your area --- they are not on your side. The resistance have to be independent. City of Vaughan has to present publicly all preliminary studies and to be placed on the web.

I don't see the cost justification and benefits of creating a rapidway on Centre Street. It is a waste of taxpayers money and creating driving nightmare on Centre Street. I will not support any politicians who supports this development.

Why do we keep building these giant towers everywhere? The infrastructure cant handle it and the roads are already way too congested.

The traffic here is already a mess with the construction at the mall. Adding more condos is just gonna make it impossible to get to work on time.
