Petition to TMBC Planning, Objection to Kershaw Lane, Celestial Church Extension

We the undersigned, wish to formally object to the proposed extension (Planning Reference: 19/00625/FUL).
Audenshaw Cllrs Teresa Smith, Oliver Ryan, Charlotte Martin and Andrew Gwynne our MP for Denton and Reddish fully reiterate local residents' concerns regarding their objections to the site expansion.
Currently, excessive noise levels are already emitted from the premises. We agree with residents, a proposed extension to the current site would be detrimental when current noise levels are not of an acceptable level.
We the undersigned also fail to comprehend why there is a need for living accommodation to be included in the planning application. There are many other churches in the area who serve large communities who do not need living accommodation.
Furthermore, as the Church is in a highly residential area, we object to this application as there are very little parking spaces available for residents, subsequently, the extension to this facility would cause problems which would be unable to be resolved.
We request this planning application is raised at Speakers' Panel to allow local representatives the opportunity to present strong objections to the proposed application.

TMBC Planning continues to ignore the chaos this expansion will bring to our streets. We are preparing to drag this to the Speakers' Panel because they clearly think we will just roll over and accept more noise and zero parking.

A Church should bring the community together and to date this church has caused no end of disturbance for local residents. I agree with previous comment that if this was teenagers causing so much disturbance, the facility would be closed down.
It cannot be allowed, not just because the area is residential , but why on earth does a church need to apply for living accommodation! It’s just wrong. There are lots of churches around the area who do not have living accommodation , and never had it , it’s unheard of . This is my reason for signing this petition and why this application should be rejected.
No money for a playgroup or youth club but plenty for it to be spent on extending the now ‘church’. There’s limited parking, the service users are extremely noisy and have no regard for local residents. They don’t keep ‘church’ hours. This should never have even been considered
This used to be a playgroup that closed due to lack of funds, same again for the youth club and then miraculously there’s money in the funds for it to be extended as a ‘church’. It’s outrageous.
Very noisy they park over the canal bridge on Kershaw lane across residents drives, then argue when you ask them to move.
I live nearby to the Church, close enough to hear the noise that can go on late into the night . The rest of my neighbours are respectful And wouldn’t create that kind of noise nuisance on a regular basis so you would expect the same from the church , especially if they respected the local community. I feel they isolate themselves from the local community, they don’t encourage us to get to know them, they don’t, to my knowledge support the local community in anyway or in deed want to be a part of our community. Therefore all they are to me is a noise nuisance and extending their building to allow more people to use it would only increase the anti social behaviour
This is too near residential properties and they currently cannot abide by decent times and noise levels, by extending this the noise and times will likely increase.

I agree with the objections raised in the petition. The noise level has had a negative impact on the quality of life for local residents. Why do they get away with lighting fires late at night and cars coming and going at all hours? As a Tameside rate payer I expect these objections to be taken seriously .
