I remember when the lake was full and going over the spillway . Regulate the level and recharge the aquifer .

I have lived here at Medina Lake for over 30 years and have seen the lake levels go up and down. I know that the lake is a contributor to the Edwards Aquifer and have noted that the water quality and level go up and down in my well, even though it is not pulling water from the Edwards Aquifer. It is also of note that many of the ranches that have streams that exit into the Medina River have dammed their streams thus reducing the amount of water that would have otherwise contributed to the water in the Medina Lake.

Save the lake! I grew up swimming and boating in this lake and it’s so sad that they want to constantly drain it.

WE must do whatever it takes to resolve this issue. This is the biggest waste of natural resources that goes unnoticed. The State of Texas needs to step in and stop the waste. This water does not belong to the BMA
