No imposition of conditions by the Zimbabwe government concerning the healing process for gukurahundi victims. The process has to be victim centred with truth telling in which perpetrators must be held accountable for the atrocities which they committed during the genocide period. If possible perpetrators must be prosecuted and punished if convicted by a court of law. The genocide leaders must be sent to the lnternational Criminal Court in the Hague in order to answer to to charges brought against them. The Chief cannot be imposed as arbitrators in this sensitive subject. Instead, a competent independent panel must be given the oversight task in this process.
