kids need a break! It is healthier for them to get free time to run around and play. I understand the importance of an education but They are kids afterall.

Kids need recess and time to play and exercise. This should not be about the school board's own agenda and egos. This needs to be about kids. That is who the school board is ultimately working for, the children of Manatee County. I think they have lost sight of that.

Kids need time to socialize and detox from the stress of being in the classroom. They can't concentrate well unless they have down time. All studies show this - so - don't withhold recess and don't eliminate it. It's necessary for their mental health.
