We, the undersigned Ghanaian students studying in Russia Saint Petersburg, respectfully present this petition to bring to your attention several crucial initiatives that require urgent support and action from the Ghana Embassy for the welfare, academic success, and unity of our student community.

1. Internship Support: We kindly request that the embassy facilitates the securing of meaningful internship opportunities in Russia for Ghanaian students. These opportunities are vital for practical learning, skills development, and future career advancement.
2. Establishment of Migration and IT Committees: To better address administrative and welfare challenges faced by students, we propose the creation of a Migration Committee to liaise with migration authorities and streamline document-related processes, as well as an IT Committee to develop and maintain effective communication and digital platforms for the student community.
3. Collective Courier Service: We seek the establishment of a collective courier service coordinated through the embassy to simplify the submission and collection of police reports and other official documents, making the process more efficient and cost-effective for students.
4. Review of Legalization Fees: We also urge the embassy to review and reduce the legalization fees for student documents, which currently impose a significant financial burden on many students.

We believe that these steps will greatly improve the overall experience of Ghanaian students in Russia and strengthen the cooperation between the embassy and our community.
