"Recorder's Clearing House", for the purposes of this document, shall be abbreviated "RCH"

Whereas we have learned in times past, those who have assumed authority have served to abuse the minds of men and women,

Whereas any message from God or mankind bears its own authority, and is not added upon by attaching titles, offices and emoluments to such messages, and a message "out of the wilderness" has more appeal to the honest-in-heart,

Whereas we have seen, that it is often a failing of the office of member to keep in check the "higher" offices of the church, and that the tendency of nearly all men is to desire a "benefactor" to whom they subject themselves and to whose authority they willingly submit,

Whereas some percentage, probably most, of the undersigned find Keith to be an interesting person and would like to continue to read his thoughts on any subject,

Whereas there are many who are seeking to understand, and perhaps preserve the the Gospel restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and many in their own weak way have started their own blogs,

Whereas it is exceedingly easy to create a personal blog,

Whereas offices bestowed by a vote are retained during the good humor of those they serve and are thus revocable,

Whereas attempts have been made to contact Keith personally and in a less public manner, but without response,

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the RCH blog only be used for the specific and limited duties of the elected office of recorder, whomever may fill that position. In pursuance to this goal, we would like to see Keith Henderson, the current recorder, take the following actions without delay:

1. Remove all blog entries from the RCH website that are not specifically related to record keeping--that is names submitted for baptism and nothing else. This includes any post that contains personal opinions, stories or revelations. If there are blog entries that are a mix of personal and official information, he is to separate official content from personal, and only preserve the official on the RCH blog.

2. If he desire, to create his own blog, where all personal blog entries unrelated directly to RCH duties may find a new home, which new personal blog, the undersigned may or may not wish to follow, bringing us all on equal ground without compulsion on the minds of of men and women.
