He was an exciting player for the Flames,I met Theo when he came to Lloyminster to play in the Allen Cup it was great to meet him .

Theoren Fleury is a hero to so many people. People that didn't think they could ever have a voice, he has showed that you can stand up for yourself and make a difference. Theoren Fleury as an NHL player, defied the odds because of his small size. His play and love for the Calgary Flames did not go unnoticed. He made so many fans even when the team as a whole wasn't playing to our expectations. He made every game exciting to watch and his spirit and determination came through in every shift and every play. He is long overdue for his #14 to be retired. There will never be another #14 on the Flames that will ever capture the love us fans had for Theo.
