The City & School Board are overstepping their authorizations to which they were appointed/elected. This will cause severe repercussions to seniors especially, who are already being hit with outrageous increases in utility costs, etc... To allow this to move forward to many causing them to move out of the city/area, or give up their homes because of the high cost of keeping a home for themselves. This will mean even less income for the city administrators to meet school and city expenses. Result, even higher taxes to those who still are property owners. What considerations is the school board and city giving to seniors who built this city and grew up here? None! Please Reject this needless and costly expense to us citizens!

Not only do the tax payers NOT have enough money to be hit with this huge expense, there are many things that the school is lacking that should be taken care of BEFORE anything like this is even considered. For instance, how about making the school buildings handicap accessible?!!!

Other areas within the school system should be address,,, why is it allways the athetic fields the most inportant. My children were into music. As tax payers were should be able to vote on where the monies are going for our children. There are plenty of young adults that are not into athetics. And most inportant, we need more education to these young adults on how they will live for the future so when they get out of scholl they can hold down a job and survive on thier own. Better education, better young adults.

Charlie Soufflet , I also live on limited income , and as stated many times by others the population of Ashland and the number of students in the school system of Ashland , is my belief that building this field house project is a large waste of taxpayers money, and is not needed .
