It's very difficult to find space to move around in such a busy gym as ICB. A bigger space would be very useful for:
Bigger boxing ring
Room to cardio excercise
Room for boxing bags
Room for gym equipment - running machine, multi gym, inversion table, Roman chair and all of the equipment is gathered upstairs or other places which cannot be used because of lack of space

ICB is a very busy gym , very often overcrowded. We need a bigger space in order to be able to train at full potential. The highly skilled coaches are there to deliver but the the lack of space is frustrating when one is training.

I fully support this plan, ICB is the best run boxing club I have been too and I have trained all over Hampshire, the coaches and the set up are professional and effective, you can really see the positive effect they have on the local youth and I would be excited to see this develop on a larger scale

Great idea. A waste of a great site based centrally in St Marys. It'd make excellent use of it.

I believe inner city boxing is a growing facility used by all areas of the community and needs to expand their premises to meet the demands of their business- not only for business purposes but also for the wellbeing of the attendees- with a big focus now on beating childhood obesity- inner city boxing offer sessions dedicated to children to help with this aspect of a ongoing growing concern.

Currently the club cannot provide coaching to disable people as the venue in St Mary Street is not disability friendly. A new venue sach as St Matthews Church would enable our coaching team to cater to this segment of the local population.

This boxing club is key to keeping the youth off the streets and giving them an opportunity to take part in something positive. Trainers such as Fred inspire the youth and give them discipline.
