Petition to Sutherland Shire Council to review the current laws with respect to recreational beach access for dogs and horses in Kurnell.

We need this beach to be pet friendly, too much of Sydney is being destroyed with massive units and less green spaces, Kurnell is one of the last of its kind and a wonderful place to take your dog for a beach walk. PLEASE don't destroy it. Have a heart and let it be pet friendly, I love seeing the horses and dogs on the beach, its what makes Kurnell special.

Sutherland shire need to be more dog friendly. So many dog lovers live hear and the council are so unfair. Last week I was in Paddington and there were dogs enjoying breakfast with their owners in cafes. I am from the UK were dogs are welcome in pubs, bars, cafes and beaches. Catch up Surherlandshire

I think this is the most crazy and overreacted thing I have ever heard! Leave the beach alone, it’s been happening for years and no problems with it. If it’s not broken why fix it!!

Council should be disgusted in themselves for taking away the beach for the horses & dogs!.. it’s part of Kurnell & lovely to see when we visit there!

So... The beach is only available to certain people in the community... This is Australia... Not some communist community! I am truly astounded that this is happening in our country!!!

Leave this space alone for people and their animals to enjoy together.

Let the dogs play

I work to protect the borders of this beautiful country. I enjoy nothing more than walking my dogs on leads before I go to work. It reminds me why I do my job. I want others to see how lucky we all are please don’t take this away.

We really do need more dog friendly places to walk and spend time with our dogs.

Keep it pet friendly

Dogs and horses of the shire deserve to enjoy our beautiful parks and beaches. Revenue vs freedom.. change the rules to put the onus back on to the owners of the few dangerous dogs around here and stop tarring all of shires doggy residents with the same brush.

Please let the dogs and horses have a place to enjoy

Horses are part of the furniture in Kurnell and it would not be the same without them. They respect the area better than humans and don’t deserve to be banned.
