Keep Silver beach open to dog walkers

Keep the pet friendly and horse friendly atmosphere going :)

My dog loves her weekend walks down at kurnell. It allows her to be free and enjoy life the way her life should be lived

The Shire is changing rapidly, we need to keep what is sacred to the locals.

Kurnell is a peaceful place and these animals coexist peacefully on the beach and cause no harm

With the increase of heart disease and diabetes in our population and the documented benefits of animals to people’s mental and physical health I would have thought that it the council would have been proactive in keeping the health of its constituents upper most in its endeavour to help rather than destroy the wonderful And forward thinking area designated for our animals.

I believe shared acccess to beach areas is fair and needed. Similar to green hills there should be times if day and certain sections of beach that are accessible.

Let us have our beach, where we can have fun with dogs and horses!!

Please don’t ruin our active lifestyles by enforcing these ridiculous restrictions on us. Our community enjoys our way of life, and by doing this, you are enforcing a sedentary life for our children. In a society that is immersed in technology and social media, these kinds of enforcements will only suck the joy and life out of people. It’ will have a huge negative impact on the community, and serve no one but government revenue. For gods sake, just let people enjoy their lives!

Sydney has very few beaches where horses can be ridden and dogs can be exercised, why ruin the culture of the area by taken that away!! To all the people who don’t like it the are so many beaches in the Sutherland shire that are dog free so go there and leave us to have fun with our dogs and horses

its a beach!! not an office building!! let people bring animals on beaches, it’s unnatural not to!?

They should not be banning it but encouraging it. It might get more people and kids outdoors rather than staying in confined places. Pets have rights too

Preserve this unique quality in The Shire where our love of the outdoors can safely and harmoniously include our four legged friends!

I am part of the art gallery in Kurnell and we often come to walk our dog. It's so friendly and relaxing as well as our customers who live in the area and visitors. We need more / longer dog friendly areas for families and dog lovers. The word is responsible owners for everyones enjoyment. Please listen to us.

I work for pony club nsw and am disappointed that Sutherland council would restrict horse riders from this area that we have used for countless years and have had no complaints from anyone

Keep silver beach animal friendly the shire has so many beaches that they are not welcome already do if people don't like it they can go to many other beaches

Wake up you’d have no problem allowing hug rise across the rd but don’t dare walk your dog on the beach please this council is a JOKE
