Petition to Sutherland Shire Council to review the current laws with respect to recreational beach access for dogs and horses in Kurnell.

What harm is being caused...

Definetely my favorite place to take my dogs they absolutely LOVE Kurnell. HUGE shame!!! My grandparents will be devastated their favourite thing to do is take their dog to kurnell twice a week

Silver Beach needs to be an off lead area for dogs and people should be able to ride horses there.

family park, family area where we take our dogs, lets not ruin more of the shire with banning or restricting walking our pets.

I’m sick and tired of council cracking down on animals being on the beach! No animal on earth could do the damage humans do to our beaches and other environments

The water is a great place for horses to exercise. What a shame to take this away from them

This is an appropriate space for outdoor activities involving animals, particularly as the area has always been used for this purpose.

There has to be somewhere for dogs & horses to enjoy the water & sand & this area is perfect.

Shame on you council! Listen to the people of the Shire! This latest ban you are trying to impose is ridiculous!

Where has Australians freedom gone to enjoy our Beautiful Country. We treat our pets like family.

My dog loves it here if we can’t take them there where do we go ?

The dogs and horses love the beaches as much as we do. I always love seeing the horses there when I am at the beach and they have been there a lot longer than I have. Our dogs are always on a lead and very well behaved. The council could learn a lot from us as their behavior has been very poor.

Please save our pet friendly beaches at Kurnell.

On a long peninsula Kurnell is like an island an island of country life on the shores of Botany Bay. Do not persecute the inhabitants

As long as owners pick up there animals poop I have no problem with them.

The shire is not what is used to be unfortunately.

This and more areas in the shire should be accessible to animal owners. The shire council does not currently balance the needs of animal owners who make up a large percentage of residents very well and this needs to be reviewed improved And expanded!

Don’t take this privilege from us ! We are the shire different from every where else because of our unique opportunities! That’s y we choose to live here

Let People have fun. Stop ruining everything.
