I request all international human rights organizations to raise their voice against the massacre of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in Islamabad, Pakistan, on 26 November night in which according to eyewitnesses scores of political activists were dead and hundreds injured by security forces. In addition, I want you to help the people of Pakistan ensure the safety of the PTI’s founder and former prime minister, Imran Khan, whose life is in danger in prison following the massacre. Khan is the leader of Pakistan’s largest political party, who was indicted on trumped-up charges and has been imprisoned for one and a half years. Whenever courts grant him a bail in one case, he the military-backed regime re-arrests him in another. Justice is not being delivered. Political activists, including women, have been continued to be unjustly imprisoned. On behalf of millions of Pakistanis, I, Jimmy Virk, a former political prisoner, request your urgent assistance in this matter. Thanks and regards @UNHumanRights @amnesty @UN_HRC @hrw @UNWatch @HRF @omctorg @OpenSociety @freedomhouse @ISHRglobal
