I understand that the horn is with in the guidlines, but it is mostly the new engines and I don't understand why they can't be lowered to the same decieble as the older trains.

The train noise is excessive and out of control !! this is another example of the lack of control that is in the city, from the speed of cars on the streets, drinking alcoholic beverages in the beaches to the noise in bars and the train during the early morning hours.

High real estate taxes should be employed to improve quality of life. Plans to attract residents and businesses to area are inappropriate if existing noise issues are not resolved.

In addition to negatively impacting my personal quality of life, I also run a home based business and find if difficult to have productive phone conversations with my clients and vendors during the frequent train passings. Please work to mitigate this issue promply.

The new LOUD train noise and frequency has caused great distress to my quality of life in Ft. lauderdale. I recently put my home home up for sale and lost a sale on it due to the train noise. Needless to say, the noise is and will continue to have an impact on real estate in the downtown area.

The train wakes me up every 2 hours. The noise is horrible every time, but some conductors are worse then others with the volume and length of their horns.

please stop the train noise during the evening from 9pm to 9am. It's very difficult to live downtown and fully function the next day when the train conductor blows the horn an unimaginable amount of times and we jolt up from sleep. Please approve this petition.

I haven't had a peaceful night sleep since I moved into the New River Yacht Club. This noise from the train is effecting my health. Management should also share responsibility since they did not imformed me of how loud and disturbing it is to sleep in this building.
