I have lived on nest egg road for 15 years the smell is bad even unbearable in the summer. I have had three neighbors have Cancer. Two with severe breathing problems . I have several heath conditions. More should be done to look at the impact rumkee is make to peoples heath and the environment. Livestock that your eating are drinking the creek water.

The odors from the current mountain of waste/trash is horrific! Rumpke likes to state that Methane Gas has no odor. That is true. It is the other mixture of gasses carried with the Methane that is nauseating! Long term exposure to Methane & Other Gasses from decomposing waste can result in more illnesses than space allows. Runoff from rains poisons our waters and lands.
An expansion would only add to these current issues.
Destroyed roads and roadside trash currently degrades the natural beauty of our County and discourages visitors.
An expansion should not be considered until these issues can be resolved.

I live 1.5 miles from the landfill, the smell is sickening our child play outside and are farm kids but that smell from the landfill will make you sick to stomach and have a horrible headache, also the buzzards coming to and from the landfill have killed multiple cattle as the mothers giving birth. This is our lively hood I will not let rumpke destroy farm land, animals and are ability to go outside and enjoy our future for our family!
