In the middle of drought I don't believe selling the towns water is a good choice at this time.
My question is who or what group made this deal? People are lining their pockets standing on our backs. They are probably not from here and could care nothing about our community or well being. Shame on them.
Water sales are affecting everyone in the county. We the people are against being sold out on our most precious resource! Life long resident of Lincoln county and I oppose selling municipal water to business interests.
I am a resident . The village told my mortgage company we had water to last 150 years. I wonder what they quote now. Just to make bird killers….
It’s ridiculous that we pay $92 a month for minimum amount of water usage for other people

We cant afford to have tanker trucks buying water from us. I have a Capitan address but am considered county. I am on a well and have been told my water level is low. Reguardless the use of our water being bought from tanker trucks is completely undermining the residents of Capitan. This is a small town, a small area, this isnt a huge comunity that has many water resources. We need out water to survive and to fight fires. We need to save as much water as we can. Letting Commercial tankers buy our water is irresponsible. we can not stand for it.
