I do not support a liquor store in this already crime-ridden corridor. Highland has been working to restore this neighborhood, & a liquor store is only an invitation to be robbed. This is also very close to Centenary College, where many students are underage.

We have enough crime in the area. We don't need a liquor store to attract more.

Please do not use this property for a liquor store. There are many people that are trying to stay sober in highland halfway houses. There are beautiful houses to the south. We are trying very hard to keep our neighborhood safe-this kind of business won’t help our hard work!

Please do not allow a liquor store at the corner of Gilbert and Kings Highway. We have enough crime in our neighborhood now and that will make it worse.

I predict an increase in crime in the area with yet another liquor store. I predict a decline of property values. I predict fewer who will pay into the system and more who rely on the system for support as a result of "developments" such as this.

Research shows nothing positive is contributed to a neighborhood when a liquor store is opened. All research shows negative consequences. We can do better!

NO ONE WANTS THIS!!!! We just beat this same thing down at the old Don's location! It is this type of trash business that increases the mass migration out of Shreveport! News flash, taxpayers in the neighborhood don't want this!!!
