Mature trees make this neighborhood special and very livable. Let's not let short term profit making take that away.

We ave lived in this neighborhood for 35 years. We have carefully guarded our 8 acres, much of which is forested. But the County has stretched the law time and time again to allow developers to violate both the letter, and certainly the intention, of the County's ordinances with regard to tree canopy preservation. This is a shame, especially for the "greatest county government" in the nation!

Tree canopy goes beyond aesthetics and property values; it goes to whether we are good stewards of our neighborhood for all who live here: humans, wildlife, and plants. A diverse ecosystem is stable and sustainable.
