I have lived in WDM all but 3 years of my life! This is not the Valley Junction I grew up in! If the beauty and charm is changed nobody will come to eat or shop!

Also housing on 4th street should not be torn down to add parking for these offices as there is a shortage of affordable family friendly housing. Perhaps add parking on 4th street during certain times.

I love Valley Junction. I grew up on 6th street and attended Valley High School on Hillside in the 1960’s and hate to see the changes that are happening on 5th street. My in-laws lived there when it was Old Valley Junction before it became West Des Moines. The family was excited to see the name Valley Junction returned. Many of the residents around all love the memories and still have family that lived those memories. Please don’t destroy something so beautiful.
