We need more colleges and we can’t afford to close the one we had for decades that produced many scholars

I invite all EAC Alumni and Friends to participate in this critical petition. I was born, raised, and went to school at EAC. Needless to say that EAC is a symbol of excellence in education since its inception over 60 years ago. It provides a well rounded education as indicated in its motto: Head, Heart, and Hand. It produced so many great minds who currently work at high government, private, or non-profit sectors. No institution comes close to EAC when it comes to community service and development. It tirelessly provided various services under different Ethiopian governments. During its current challenges it is going through, we, the EAC alumni and friends should step up to the plate and support EAC. The farmland is a critical component in its plans to develop the community and entire country. Therefore, the farmland should not be taken away from the college. I can say with high confidence that the farmland will remain with the college and the college will carry out its proposed development plans. I stand with EAC. It's the fundamental source of Ethiopian human capital

That farm land is crucial for the survival of the EAC, without that farm land The Institution will not survive in long run. The elementary school, the secondary school, the college, and the church-these are the best investment ever made in that region. We all have benefited from this institution-it is our institution, it is our resource, and investment. Therefore, we all have to stand together and protect our institution in this tough and challenging moment.
