Today's farmer produces good for the world at very low prices. The efficiency of this group in production is far greater than the supply chain it services. The trucks, factories, ships and retail delivery does not even come close to product Vs energy consumed.

There is no reason to have these kind of restrictions on our farmers and truckers. Now we have to add carbon to or soils because of the shortage.

Some of this emissions equipment is very dangerous. For example the regen system on our tandem grain truck is deadly close to very tinder dry cereal stubble and being extremely hot we are scared to even use an $80,000 Grain Truck to haul produce from our fields. The engines with these emissions controls on them burn more fuel than the old ones did. Is that better?

The US Government needs to stay out of vehicle and engine design. They know nothing about it.

I have seen def cause more breakdowns than any other problems combined. These breakdowns cost millions in delays in construction and agriculture each year.

Tier IV emissions for ag equipment is unnecessary regulatory burden on the community. Majority of your AG Equipment runs less than 300 hours per year unlike vocational equipment.

This needs to be a serious consideration for those that can make those decisions and changes.
