The change to two hour parking does not work for me. As a result of this new policy, I am now paying $5 each time I play racquetball at the Y. This is because I am parking beneath the Library. By the time I warm up, play racquetball and have a shower and a hot tub, three hours have elapsed. Traditionally I then have to rush out to leave, so as not to receive a ticket from Robbins. Sometimes I don’t get to my vehicle in time and consequently have to pay over $30 to Robbins. It’s untenable for me to try to play racquetball at the Y if I have to use this new policy which only gives me two hours to complete my workout. Should this policy remain in place, I’ll be paying more for parking than I do for my Health Club Membership. $5 extra for parking three times a week works out to be $60 per month.

The two hour parking limit makes a plus membership useless for team sports as I have no time to use the facilities. Even trying to get a warmup done and play our regular games means quiting early to even get a shower. A lot of people like to stop in the restaurant afterwards to grab a bite to eat and chat but with the new timeframe that is not possible.

As a long time Y member the three hour time limit is a perfect amounbt of time. the two hour severly crimps how I use the Y facility and costs each member extra

Attending the Y to warm up and play raquatbal takes on average 2 to 3 hours, this change is an expensive problem if we have to pay extra to park elsewhere and will not improve the parking situation, a new solution needs to be found

As a regular 'Y' user, a 2 hour maximum parking is simply inadequate.

Two hour parking simply does not work for many of us. At the very least, weekdays before 5pm should remain 3-hour parking, since the lot across the street was never available then. Would have appreciated if before making your decision you had asked the Y members for inspired suggestions; then we would have at least felt consulted. Why not do that now?
