We are writing to express our utter disappointment at the dismal quality of the Starlight K2 Graduation Photographs which were given out last week

The photographs we received do not meet our expectations at all. It is sadly obvious that the quality and presentation of this year's class and individual photos are not of a comparable standard or quality to previous years.

We do not accept them.

It is heartbreaking in our children's final year at SJCK that this is the memory their beloved kindergarten would have left them with.

We hereby petition for SJCK for an immediate solution to retake all K2 Class and Individual photographs.

The quality of the photos for this year’s graduation is pale in comparison to the previous years. The background is white & there is no frame for the picture as well. In addition, the class photo is not taken with the children wearing their graduation gowns. This is an important year and photos are a memory for the children for their journey with St James during the pre-school years. We are very disappointed with this batch of graduation photos taken & appeal for a retake of it.

Very disappointed to receive the graduation photos. There were shadows on individual photo and there is no colour on the face and no smiles. The background was a boring grey compared to my older boy’s light blue background. The gown is awful too.

Quite disappointed with all the class photo taken annually especially the graduation photo. It may not be easy to make kid smile cheerfully during photo taking session. However, with current technology, the shooting result can be checked instantly whether the kid is showing a monkey face or awkward smile. In fact, the kid nowadays are all "inborn" super model as they are so used to photo-taking. The photo paper don't seems to be lasting. The photograph background is gloomy. Please consider to change photography service.

I agree with the above comments on the individual photo. I thought it was only my child who didn’t smile but it looks like this is very consistent on the photo shoot set up and environment that the children might feel a bit awkward.

The individual photo looks very gloomy and doesn’t convey the joy & confidence of a graduating child...

I am deeply disappointed by the abysmal quality of the individual and class photos taken this year. Shadows in the background of individual pictures, uneven colouring and poor picture quality - and the class photo could have been easily taken with my own phone (and probably would have looked better if I did) - all of which speaks volumes about the photographer, and sadly none of it is positive. Also, there's no St James picture frame this year unlike previous years - this is truly an incredibly poor keepsake of what should be a happy milestone in my child's life - graduation from the first school he's ever known and grown up in.

Disappointed with the quality of the pictures, especially when it is put to comparison with past year pictures.

I agree with the above comments. The picture I received was very dark and gloomy. It looks like the child was made to stand against one of the walls in the school compound and shot using a low quality handphone camera. I have no issue with the graduation gown. The class photo on the other hand was nice and cheerful. As graduation of our children is an important milestone for each parent, I would like to have a beautiful memory instead of a gloomy one!
