Petition to Retain the Southampton/Alderney Air Link

its a lifeline - we used to fly from Shoreham to Alderney and that was lost - don't lose this as well

I lived there and this link is vital for the island.

If the boot were on the other foot, and ALL Guernsey flights had to come through Alderney, how would that go down? And I wish the petition would show my place of residence as Alderney, not Guernsey!

Please don’t choke the lifeblood out of this special place

Alderney is an extraordinary island with and unique and beautiful population. Cutting the transport link from Southampton severs an artery, its a lifeline the island needs to survive. Please think again!

I use this route 2 or 3 times a year to visit and stay in Alderney and consider it vital to ensure future visits.

Services must continue for future if Alderney

The life line to the mainland must be kept open

Ised to live in Alderney and worked for Aurigny. My very elderly Grandfather still lives there and it is our quickest route in case of an emergency. He has used this line so frequently in the last few years. It would cause such distress if he had to make two flights to come back to the mainland. He is in his mid 90’s. I am concerned for many of the elderly or vunerable residents who will be affected the most by this lifeline being cut. Please do the moral thing and don’t put lives at risk.
