Petition to Retain Babel Gym in the Suria KLCC Shopping Mall

Even though the gym is one of the best equipped gyms in KL, it’s the service oriented trainers and their demeanor and character that motivates us to wake up early morning or after a long day of work and head to the gym. And it’s because of this superb trainer base, that this Babel community has formed in KLCC. It is a pity to see this community lose a home and I sure do hope that management do find alternate arrangements to ensure that Babel stays alive and in the vicinity of where it is now.

Retain Babel Klcc ! We need the community to drive us to a healthy lifestyle not take it away from us

Before joining Babel, KLCC was just another crowded mall to me, filled with tourists and lacking a real sense of connection. Despite living and working nearby, I only went there for events. But after becoming a member of Babel, everything changed. I now go to KLCC almost every day because of the incredible community and wellness experience Babel offers. Babel isn’t just a gym—it’s a place that keeps people coming back regularly, and this drives consistent foot traffic to the mall. Most of us don’t just come to KLCC for the gym. We shop, eat, and support other businesses while we’re here. A gym like Babel can do what few others can—it creates a reason to return every day, unlike restaurants or shops that may only see occasional visits. Losing Babel would mean losing a significant part of what makes KLCC a destination for so many of us.

The best gym in KL, and an even better community of people, which is in a super convenient location for many of us based in KL for work and also on weekends.

I’ve been a member since 2021, and this gym has truly become my second home. It’s more than just a fitness club—it’s where I’ve made lasting friendships and connected with genuine people who have brightened my life. The gym has played a crucial role in supporting both my mental and physical well-being, offering a space to challenge myself, grow, and stay healthy. Closing it would mean losing more than just a workout facility—it would disrupt an essential part of my daily routine and the strong community I’ve become a part of. I sincerely hope higher management reconsiders this decision, as the gym holds deep value for me and many others.
