The loss of these traditional games would cause too many people to miss another opportunity to show their school spirit which reminds us all why high school athletics is so important to the schools, Towns and students. The loss is not just to the players but the band members, cheerleaders and dance team members that add to the great school event.

You get a large turnout for these traditional games and they build town spirit. Why on earth would they do away with them?

As a former varsity cheerleader and Warde graduate, it would be a real shame not to continue this fun-filled tradition. I strongly believe this decision should be reconsidered.

This is a 20+ year tradition that attracts a full house every year. It allows school alumni the opportunity to stay connected with their schools. It is also a good fund raiser for the entire programs with a likely loss of substantial revenue if moved to a less convenient date. Keep the Thanksgiving game going for these two schools.

This is a town tradition and folks come back to ffld. To watch this game yearly. Do the right thing and reinstate.

I am a freshman football player for staples and it would be not right for me not to play in these games. I look up to play these games and I hope I can keep on looking up to it.

My dance team dances at the thanksgiving game it's always been one of our favorite routines to preform while our alumni get to come back to watch.

Keep this Tradition....it means more than a "league" anyway. Traditions are going by the wayside regularly, and this Tradition brings families together in HEALTHY competition.
