I, Reagan Box, and the under signers of this petition, implore our state legislators of Georgia to restore the process of how we do elections by returning them to hand marked, hand counted, and open record paper ballots. Our vote is one of the most basic rights in our Republic and current practices have sown extreme distrust with a system that the average citzen cannot audit or know if their ballot really counted or for whom it was even cast. Logic and accuracy fail rates, proprietary coding, as well as a complete lack of transparency with chain of custody for final count numbers have made millions of Georgians question the validity of our current electoral process. We must bring trust, integrity, and transparency back into votng! Let it be known that any elected offcials that do not have the politcal will or moral fortitude to vote in favor of restoring our electoral process will be remembered for this failure. The time will come for the next round of elections and after this failure has been observed and on that day the good people of Georgia, regardless of politcal preferences, will be called to voice their displeasure with those who have not worked to implement the will of their constituents.

im still reading through all the stories people are leaving here and it just shows how much we all need to see some real changes. people want to know their vote actually counts and the silence from the state house is getting pretty loud.

Restoring paper ballots will bring credibility, transparency and integrity to the Georgia vote. Without this simple change, the pubic will never trust their elected officials or the electoral process. This is a no brainer. Without this change our political system is broken!
I presume everyone who will read these comments - and even those who don't - wants their candidates to win WITHOUT FRAUD. It's time to ditch the machines! Thank you.
I campaigned twice for Hand Marked Paper Ballots. 2018 for Governor, and 2022 for Secretary of State. Took a ballot challenge all the way to the Georgia Supreme Court, but they wouldn't address the issue!
We the people, want hand marked, hand counted paper ballots at small precincts which will create election transparency, voter confidence and most importantly, an auditable election system. We must get rid of the Wizard of Oz, black box voting system and go back to paper ballots. Same Day voting, not month long voting!
Regarding paper ballots, I would add we must ensure the following for security: 1. Dynamic watermarks, secure ink and holographs (serialized) 2. Vendor approved and predefined paper stock that can be ID’d to a specific vendor ONLY…no exceptions #PaperPlease
We must get rid of these programmable machines! Clean up voter rolls, go to paper ballots only, and count them at the precinct level with at least 4 volunteers from each party (uh, NO RINOs!) verifying the count. Election night results!
Thank you for your efforts. GA elections must be saved. Hopefully other states will follow.

I'll sign, but doesn't go far enough. We also need same day voting, real verifiable signatures, not electronic, and restrictions on mail-in ballots. Neither ballots nor their counting should ever touch or in any way depend upon electronic media.
