This petition is in regards to the intersection of Broad Street and Wentworth Street in the South End of Saint John. Due to a recent hit and run involving a young woman and child on September 24/2014, along with numerous other incidents and close calls, area residents and community groups are concerned about safety at this particularly busy intersection. The intersection in question is a very busy crossing area for local residents and is also a block away from a designated school zone. This petition is a call for IMMEDIATE ACTION by the City of Saint John to address this very dangerous problem.
