International auto manufacturers knowingly build unsafe cars for consumers in Latin American countries, yet charge the same price regardless of major differences in safety. It may be up to governments of the individual countries to agree to pass a standard safety requirement, but until they do and car companies are forced to only create safe vehicles, we need to be promoting global economic equality for all.
