This petition is asking for the requirement that any action by the Carlyle City Council for new construction of or purchase of existing properties for the purpose of a new Carlyle City Hall shall first be placed on the ballot at the next Carlyle Municipal Election for decision by votes of the citizens of the City of Carlyle, Illinois. This petition will be delivered to the Mayor and Carlyle Carlyle City Council at or before the next council meeting on Monday March 12, 2018.
