Dear Joseph J. Bruno, President and members of the Park Ridge Board of Education. We the undersigned request that the Little Theater at Park Ridge High School be renamed “The James Gandolfini Theater” in honor of the late James Gandolfini. Mr. Gandolfini, known as Jim to his friends, was a graduate of Park Ridge High School and had a distinguished career on television, on film and in the theater. He was an award-winning actor, of the highest caliber and amongst the most beloved of this generation. It was as a student in the theater at Park Ridge High School, that James Gandolfini had his first experience on stage. Therefore, the location holds a special place in New Jersey history. Renaming the theater will be a way for his local friends and classmates to remember him, and will serve as a source of inspiration to future generations of students. Thank you for your kind attention,
