At a football games, the band do not support or encourage the football team with their music,song, drumbeat or chants when needed. They takes too many breaks for me.

I had issues with this band director since Jamison Lumar was in band--HE did not want any 7 or 8 graders to join because he did not want to "babysit" . I feel to believe that talent can come in any sizes!

Absolutely agree!! No other band director has worked as hard as Mr Lee has to get the kids where they are today. Of course they aren't as good as other big bands they are competing against....but they will be....with dedication and practice! These kids have come a long way and we are very proud of them! Shame on all these so called parents and their rude comments! What role models....how sad!

Even the auxiliaries are commenting nobody likes how the band is ran. Well you might but 9/10 people want something they can relate to. Roll stepping is something people don't wanna see. A change is needed

The petition isn't stupid at all! The people are speaking and voicing their opinions just like you can. And if you haven't heard half on the band has signed the petition they don't want him there either. And y'all have won zero competitions. 3's and 4's don't sound like wins to me. If your mad about it oh well you can't stop people from telling how they feel. Your just one irrelevant comment

Actually funny how people who have never seen a note want to get rid of a band director who is working his butt off! Seriously, comments telling band members to quit if they have a problem? How stupid and one sided can you people be? This petition is stupid and I hope it goes absolutely no where. And by more competitons have been won this year out of all of the previous years combined. Do Mr lee and all of his band members a favor and leave this alone. You look ridiculous

Look Ma'am , If people are unhappy with the director then oh well. And maybe some of the Kids don't wan put they real name because they want to stay anonymous so you are truly wasting your time coming on here. And you don't even know if they are forging kids names so don't accuse anyone of anything. Goodbye

It's pretty sad when you're gonna start forging kids names just to get numbers on your petition!! If y'all are that concerned...come to a band meeting and speak your mind ...instead of hiding behind this petition!!! The invitation is open for all.....

Dr. Lee had good intentions, that I will say, but his intentions only caused more harm in my opinion. We need someone fresh and young that is willing to take time to redo the program yet again.

Im on one of the auxiliaries & im just not satisified . I love Southern Band we should be more like them!
